Board Meeting Minutes – October 19, 2015
- Dongles
- Kate suggests that we should update the dongle library
- Mini display port adaptors and VGA-HDMI adaptors
- This will be tabled until we can look at projector prices (see below)
- Inventory
- We should have an inventory at some point
- Frank and Kate will go through the current lab stuff at some point to get rid of stuff
- Ordering T-shirts
- Alan has been talking to LPTees about this but they’re slow
- Alan will try and get a response as soon as he can
- Ordering one big thing each semester
- This has been suggested by Frank
- The current suggestion is a new projector (with HDMI support)
- We should push for projector rentals
- This is a good source of income for CIF
- CIF/AIF/MIF event
- October 27 – s’mores event
- 30 dollars has been allocated
- AIF and MIF will each foot 10 dollars
- Upcoming Events
- Tech Event – October 24 at 2pm
- CIF Plays – October 25 from 4-9pm
- Floor Meeting – October 25 at 9pm
- RWBY Showing – October 25 at 10pm
- Tech Seminars
- Alex will feel out the community about topics they want to hear about
- Board will talk to different floor members about what they know and whether they want to teach
- Talking with Comp. Sci. classes
- Sara will talk to the CS 161 class
- Posters
- Alex will get postering done for the collaboration event
- Same for general CIF fliers and game night
- Decoration
- For game night, Alex will also reach out to CIF about getting decorations/decorating things
- Also this will be in the Wilder Rec Room
