Board Meeting Minutes – January 13, 2015

• At 4:30 the poster will be turned in
• Susan’s event proposal
  • Winter Wonderland from 4-7

  • Will definitely advertise to floor

  • Wear CIF shirts if you have them and such
  • Susan will get us more info on meeting times and places and such by next board meeting

  • Tech Staff
• Positions updates:
  • Alan will now upload minutes to the website
  • Sarah will update the calendar
  • The new Head of Tech Staff is now the Technomancer
• Quest Board
  • Anyone can put up a 0 point quest
    • If there is a complaint about a quest or the content of a quest, people can bring it to board and we will discuss it
  • Each board member can approve or deny requests for quests to be worth x points
  • Caitlin can veto a point decision
  • The rest of board can overturn Caitlin’s decision
  • Caitlin is designing a general thing to put up for quests
  • Every Sunday we need to receive a list of quests that have been put up on the quest boards in the last week
  • Every Monday Sarah will send out a list to the committee heads of quests that need to be posted
• Unix Workshops
  • CS department isn’t responding to emails
  • The only real response here is for Frank to go talk to them face-to-face
  • Frank insists on being made cookies as support
• Game Night Dates:

  • Those cards can be put up on boards and distributed to places
  • Nate will get these descriptions written up
• Poster for Free Printing
  • Nate will amend the poster to note that Jackson Court Hall Council is providing funding
• Floor Meetings:
  • Sarah will create a Doodle Poll to send out for floor meetings
• Budget
  • Alan will go ahead and actually check the funds to be sure everything is accurate
  • Alan will also keep funds from JCHC separated from the rest – in the box and in the excel document
  • Then Alan will write up a budget for next meeting
• Email Aliases
  • Board should use the CIF Aliases rather than personal emails when talking with individuals
• Furniture Inventory
  • We can have pantheon of cleanliness go ahead and make a quest for it
• Filing Cabinet
  • ITS didn’t have any and there weren’t any under $50
  • Frank will find the cheapest one he can before he sends it to the rest of board
• Board Meetings are officially Mondays at 9pm
